Machine and plant fitter apprenticeship with secondary school diploma (Abitur) at Volkswerft Stralsund (shipyard) (1988 – 1991)
Humboldt University of Berlin (cultural studies, European ethnology, political science) (1991/1992)
Apprenticeship at LIZ Theater in cooperation with the Ernst Busch University of Theatre Arts Berlin (1992 – 1996)
Theater & Orchester GmbH Neubrandenburg/Neustrelitz (1996 – 2002)
Landestheater Schwaben (2002 – 2022)

Why do I do theatre? It’s hard to put that in a few words. Probably because acting on the stage gives me opportunity after opportunity to try new things, open unfamiliar doors and test the boundaries with great curiosity in a safe space.
When everything comes together, we manage to share part of the journey with the audience, tell a story and make it come alive. And ideally, we all feel a little less lonely afterwards…
