Professional journey

• Training at the Hamburg University of Music and Drama
• Guest engagements at the Hamburg Schauspielhaus and Staatstheater Darmstadt
• Theater Oberhausen (since 1992)
• Establishment of the Anna Polke Foundation

Why do I do theatre? I love to do theatre so that I can create opportunities for people to explore different experiences, encounters and challenges. There’s nothing more beautiful than working with others on an exceptional project and giving the audience hours of inspiration and excitement.
