There are those moments when everything hangs in suspense – when the world and time fall still, and yet it is already clear that afterwards nothing will ever be the same again. Something shifts. Both, in our private lives and in the political sphere, we are recognize these thresholds; breaking-points at which certainties begin to fracture, systems begin to falter, and we sense the inevitable end of a (world) order.

The first part of this choreographic double bill approaches precisely this fragile instant, when something within us begins to give way: What happens within us when we adapt, when we let ourselves be swept along, when we yield under pressure? Where is that moment before something breaks – before we lose a stance, a conviction?

The second part turns toward what follows: Which freedoms have we relinquished, which beliefs have we cast aside? What remains of what once seemed immovable? And how might we begin to grasp what comes next?

KIPPPUNKTE unfolds as two distinct works that resonate, challenge and interweave with one another. Through choreographic research with the entire Urban-Arts-ensemble, a visually striking and contemporary exploration of courage, responsibility and resistance will emerge.
