ADVANCE SALES AND RESERVATIONS

Tickets for performances go on sale on the first of the month for the following month. If the first is a Sunday or public holiday, tickets go on sale on the next working day instead. Once tickets are on sale, reservations can be made using your personal customer number by phoning +49 (0)208 8578 184. Please let us know your name, customer number, payment method, number of requested tickets and any applicable concessions when making a reservation.

ONLINE TICKET SHOP

You can purchase admission tickets for all available shows directly in our online ticket shop at any time. This can be accessed through the event list featuring everything in our programme, via the pages for the individual events or by clicking here.

PRICES

In Oberhausen, culture and theatre are accessible to all. We intentionally keep admission and subscription prices at a reasonable rate to reflect our commitment to this.

Cloakroom and electronic processing fees are included in the admission price.

We publish the prices for special events, readings, bar events, etc. in good time, both online and in our print publications.

Concessions & FAMILY PRICES

On presentation of ID, students and trainees aged 30 and below, people with a severe disability (degree of disability 80 or higher) and recipients of unemployment benefits and similar support can purchase an admission ticket in price groups III and IV for €7. For premieres and special events, there is the possibility of concessions on remaining tickets at the evening box office. This is determined on a case-by-case basis for tickets sold in advance.

Theater Oberhausen welcomes all the family and offers a varied programme for different age levels in the Young Theatre. Tickets for our family productions cost €11 for adults and €7 for children..

GROUPS

For groups of 15 or more, event tickets can be purchased at a price of €15 per person, subject to availability. If you wish to purchase tickets for a group of a different size or need more information before your visit, please do not hesitate to contact our box office team. We would be happy to help you with your planning and organisation. Youth group tickets can be booked for all events at Theater Oberhausen, including visits from school classes and courses. For group bookings of ten or more, the price per pupil is €6 and accompanying adults are eligible for concessions. Specific reservation requests should be directed to our box office at service@theater-oberhausen.de. Of course, impromptu visits by classes and courses are also an option.

GIFT VOUCHERS

Vouchers can be purchased in the online ticket shop and in person at the box office. You decide on the value of the voucher. Gift vouchers are valid for three years from the date of purchase/issue. This period begins on the 31st of December of the year in which the voucher is purchased. Vouchers can be redeemed for all events, for subscriptions and for merchandising products at Theater Oberhausen. Unfortunately, it is not possible to exchange vouchers for their present cash value.
